Job summary

Ideal Recruit is currently seeking HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers for a well-established client based in Sheffield. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers ongoing, stable work for professional drivers.

Duties include trunking deliveries/collections, vehicle checks and paperwork, and compliance with Drivers' Hours regulations. Excellent pay rates apply across Weekdays and Weekends with overtime possibilities. Valid UK HGV Class 1 entitlement, CPC, and up to 6 points are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 driving entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Endorsements: Maximum 6 points (no CD, DD, DR, or IN).

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting goods via trunking routes (RDC to RDC).
• Completing standard vehicle check sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Adhering to EU Drivers’ Hours regulations and Working Time Directives.
