Job summary

Pro Drive is recruiting HGV 1 Drivers for a temp-to-perm role based in Tittensor. This is general haulage with no handball, typically 8–12 hour shifts and about four drops per shift.

You will deliver to various customer locations and must operate the vehicle safely while completing checks and paperwork. Required are a valid HGV 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card; previous HGV 1 experience is preferred but not essential, with a reliable and professional attitude and good knowledge

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1 (C+E) driving licence is required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Previous HGV 1 / Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV 1 / Class 1 vehicles.
• Carry out general haulage duties.
• No handball required on deliveries.

We are currently recruiting HGV 1 Drivers on behalf of a well-established transport company based in Tittensor.

This is an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Drivers looking for a temp-to-perm position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.

NO HANDBALL – ALL GENERAL HAULAGE WORK

THE ROLE:

• HGV 1 / Class 1 driving
• General haulage
• NO HANDBALL
• Average of 4 drops per shift
• Typical shifts of 8-12 hours
• Deliveries to a variety of customer locations
• Safe and professional operation of the vehicle
• Completion of vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

PAY:

• £14.55 PER HOUR
