Job summary

Driving Force - Newport is partnering with a supermarket distribution client at Avonmouth and Chepstow to recruit reliable Class 1 (HGV C&E) drivers. Part-time and full-time shifts are available, with paid breaks and a pay structure covering day and night shifts.

You may work from either depot and will handle 1–4 store deliveries plus required paperwork. You must hold an HGV 1 (C&E) licence, a valid digital tachograph card and a DQC card, with at least 6 months’ experience and no more than 6

Qualifications

• HGV 1 C+E licence, Digital tachograph and DQC card.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DR, DD, CD, IN10.

Responsibilities

• Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required.
• Deliveries can be either caged or palletised.
• Completing paperwork.

22.00 - 06.00Basic £22.45Overtime £6.92 per hour extra after 45 hours

Your responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver:

Class 1 Driver - About you:

• HGV 1 C+E licence, Digital tacho & DQC card
• Minimum 6 months experience
• No more than 6 points.
• No DR, DD, CD, IN10's
• Be able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment
• HGV 1 Drivers may also be expected to complete some deliveries to smaller stores in a HGV 2 vehicles.
