Drivers Today are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for regular day work in Stoke-on-Trent. Immediate starts available for experienced drivers with Class 1/C+E licences.

Day shifts from Monday to Friday with ongoing opportunities and weekly pay. LTD company drivers welcome; local recruitment team ready to assist. Based near Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1/C+E licence required or in progress.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• General haulage and trunking tasks.
• RDC deliveries and collections.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Local, regional and occasional longer-distance runs.
• Adhere to driver hours and safety regulations.

Drivers Today are looking for HGV Class 1 / C+E Drivers for regular day work in Stoke-on-Trent.

We have immediate starts available for experienced Class 1 drivers.

The Work

This is varied HGV Class 1 general haulage work, so you're not necessarily doing exactly the same run every day.

Typical Duties Can Include

• General haulage
• Trunking
• RDC deliveries and collections
• Curtain-sided trailers
• Palletised loads
• Local, regional and longer-distance runs
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks

Day shifts only, predominantly working Monday to Friday.

Pay Hours

£19.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay

What We’re Looking For

• HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence
• Valid Driver CPC

• Professional and reliable approach
• Previous Class 1 general haulage experience preferred
