Drivers Today in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a busy multi-drop operation. Start from the Stoke depot with planned routes, delivering palletised goods to commercial customers in curtain-sided Class 2 vehicles across the locality.

Typical day includes vehicle checks, multi-drop rounds, and handling deliveries and collections. LTD Company drivers welcome, PAYE £17.00 per hour including holiday pay, with regular ongoing work and weekday day shifts.

Qualifications

• Category C / HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with multi-drop pallet or curtain-side operations is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform palletised multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
• Operate curtain-sided Class 2 vehicles across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding area.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and manage paperwork accurately.
• Undertake local and regional routes, deliveries and collections, and general haulage work.

Drivers Today are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 driversfor a busy multi-drop operation in Stoke-on-Trent. This is regular, ongoing work rather than simply covering the odd shift.

The work is mainly palletised deliveries to commercial customers, driving modern curtain-sided Class 2 vehiclesaround Stoke and the surrounding region.

What does a typical day look like?

You'll start from the Stoke depot, complete your vehicle checks and head out with a planned multi-drop route.

Expect a mixture of:

• Palletised multi-drop deliveries

• Curtain-sided vehicles

• Commercial and industrial customers

• Local and regional routes

• Deliveries and collections

• General haulage work

It's straightforward Class 2 work, but we're looking for drivers who are comfortable with multi-drop, can manage their paperwork properly and are happy dealing with customers.

Who are we looking for?

You'll need a Category C / HGV Class 2 licence, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous multi-drop, pallet or curtain-side experiencewould be ideal. More importantly, we're looking for dependable drivers who turn up when booked and take pride in doing the job properly.
