Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver to support the Peterborough depot in a temporary/ongoing capacity. You will drive between Royal Mail depots and follow planned routes, with options for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Applicants must hold an HGV Class 1 (CE) licence for at least 12 months, valid CPC and Digital Tachograph, and have 180 days of recent Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence showing your current address.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
