Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver for depot-to-depot duties with reliable shifts and competitive pay. The role is based in the UK, with on-site depot locations.

You will drive between Royal Mail depots and select from morning, evening, and weekend shifts. You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence (Category CE) for at least 12 months, CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and have up to 6 penalty points. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence showing your current address.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
