Pertemps Royal Mail is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver for East Midlands Airport on a temporary/ongoing basis. You’ll transport mail between Royal Mail depots and work on shifts with morning, evening or weekends. Pay ranges from £21.44 to £24.57 per hour, with paid hours for driving assessments.

You’ll need a valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE), CPC and Digital Tachograph, plus experience and a clean licence. The role includes on-site parking, canteen facilities, weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay and a

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card held.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence shows current address.

Responsabilités

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading/unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
