Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop in Bristol. The role is night-shift with up to 11 drops per shift, operating Category C+E vehicles and ensuring safe loading and delivery of goods from Avonmouth. Immediate starts available for experienced drivers with a valid licence and CPC card.

Qualifying candidates will have a minimum 2 years CE experience, clean licence with ≤6 points, and strong English communication. Weekly pay and onsite facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Minimum of two years' experience driving CE vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 multi-drop deliveries, completing up to 11 drops per night.
• Operate Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly.
• Adhere to UK traffic laws and transport regulations.
• Communicate effectively with transport office and customers.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop - Bristol to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent night-shift work.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £21.49 per hour
• 10-hour minimum shift payment guaranteed

Shift Pattern:

• 5 days on, 3 days off
• 18:00 start times

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will work:

Essential Skills:

• Good spoken and written English
