Job summary

Culina Group is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Rail Container operations. Based at the Morrisons RDC in Bellshill, you will transport shipping containers from railheads to customer sites across Cumbria and Scotland.

Shifts run on a permanent basis with 17:00–19:00 starts for Nights. Pay ranges from £14.60–£18.41 per hour, plus a £5 per shift meal allowance. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism and dependable delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Load Containers out of Railheads using Skelly Trailers
• Collecting and Delivering Containers to Customer sites
• Supporting General Haulage operation as required
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us, working out of the Morrisons RDC in Bellshill, to support our Rail Container operations, transporting shipping containers from railheads and terminals to customer sites throughout Cumbria and Scotland. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and due to Rail timetables require a17:00-19:00 start for Nights

Pay Rates:

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour, depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

• Mon-Fri Night Shift – £15.80 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift – £18.10 per hour
• Bank Holidays – £18.41 per hour.

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance.
