Ideal candidates will have a valid Class 1 licence, at least 1 year in a similar role, and strong organisational and communication skills to manage freight and documentation across regional hubs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar heavy goods driving role.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing freight and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently on scheduled night-time routes.
• Follow detailed routing and scheduling to ensure timely parcel delivery and collection between hubs.
• Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight including pallets, cages, and containers.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required.
• Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch teams.
• Adhere to all relevant road safety and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
