Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar heavy goods driving role.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably.
• Strong organisational skills for freight and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely on scheduled night-time routes.
• Follow routing to ensure timely parcel delivery between hubs.
• Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports.
• Handle shipment paperwork and scan consignments accurately.
• Adhere to road safety and company policies.

• Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight including pallets, cages, and containers
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required
• Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch teams
• Adhere to all relevant road safety and company policies to ensure compliance and safety
