Pertemps is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E drivers for a role based in Evesham. You will complete 6–12 drops per day, with unloading via tail lift or forklift in some cases.

The position is permanent, nights shifts, with a £45,000 annual salary and overtime paid at £18.00 per hour. Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 licence and have at least 12 months of relevant driving experience.

About the Role

This permanent HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) role in Evesham offers £45,000 annually, with overtime paid at £18.00 hourly. Working night shifts, the successful candidate will handle between six and twelve multi-drop deliveries each day. Unloading relies on a tail lift and electric pump truck, or occasionally a forklift, so physical handling of goods is rarely needed. Duties cover vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and communication with customers and the transport office. The Role

• Operate the tail lift and electric pump truck safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with customers and the transport team.
• Follow drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.

Driver Requirements

• Full UK Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points, with no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements.
• Reliable, professional and comfortable completing multi-drop routes.
• Able to commute to Evesham.

Pay

• £45,0000 per annum
• £18.00 per hour overtime (after 50h)

Shifts

• Start times between 1700-2000
• 10-15h runs
