Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E drivers for a role based in Evesham. You will complete 6–12 drops per day, with unloading via tail lift or forklift in some cases.

The position is permanent, nights shifts, with a £45,000 annual salary and overtime paid at £18.00 per hour. Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 licence and have at least 12 months of relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 / C+E driving licence and valid Driver CPC.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Digital tachograph card required; tachograph rules to be followed.
• Maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist with unloading when required using tail lift, pump truck or forklift.
• Complete vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.
• Maintain communication with customers and transport team.

Skills
