Pertemps Warrington is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) in Evesham. You will perform 6–12 multi-drop deliveries nightly, using a tail lift/electric pump truck, with occasional forklift help.

You’ll complete checks, paperwork, and keep the transport office informed. Requirements include a full UK Class 1 licence, 12+ months experience, CPC and tachograph card, and a clean licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points, with no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements.
• Able to commute to Evesham.

This permanent HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) role in Evesham offers £45,000 annually, with overtime paid at £18.00 hourly. Working night shifts, the successful candidate will handle between six and twelve multi-drop deliveries each day. Unloading relies on a tail lift and electric pump truck, or occasionally a forklift, so physical handling of goods is rarely needed. Duties cover vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and communication with customers and the transport office. Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 licence and possess at least twelve months of relevant driving experience. Compliance with tachograph rules and drivers' hours is essential.

You’ll complete 6–12 drops per day, with unloading using a tail lift and electric pump truck or by forklift. Handball is rarely required , usually only in an emergency.

Pay: £45,0000 per annum £18.00 per hour overtime (after 50h)

Shifts: Start times between 1700-2000 10-15h runs
