Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for C+E (Class 1) Night Shift Shunting Drivers in Thirsk, working for an international client. The role features 4 on/4 off nights with a 18:00–06:00 shift pattern and site-based duties.

Training is provided for website-based delivery scheduling, with responsibilities including safe operation of a Terberg shunter, completing delivery notes, and reporting defects. Competitive hourly rates apply.

Qualifications

• C+E (Class One) licence holder.

Responsibilities

• Operate Terberg shunting vehicle safely and on time.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Use website-based delivery scheduling (training provided).
• Complete delivery notes and digital paperwork.

The Best Connection are working with our International client to source additional

C+E (Class 1) Night Shift Shunting Drivers

for their expanding operation in Thirsk.

The role:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• No "Hand-balling" involved!
• The Safe and Timely Operation of a Terberg Shunting Vehicle
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Using website-based delivery scheduling (training given)
• Completion of delivery notes and associated digital info / paperwork

Hours of work:

• 18.00 - 06.00
• 4 on / 4 off (7 day working)

The candidate:

• C+E (Class One) Licence
