Job summary

The Best Connection are sourcing HGV 1 (LGV C+E) drivers to work from their Hartlepool depot. The role involves safe operation of a Class One vehicle and deliveries to factories and RDCs. Forklift-assisted loading/unloading and curtain-sided trailers are common.

Candidates must hold a valid C+E licence with up to 6 points, in-date CPC and Digi card, and have at least 6 months driving experience, plus excellent customer service skills. Day shifts 06:00–18:00. £15.00 per hour plus holiday pay.

Qualifications

• C+E licence with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card required.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class One (C+E) vehicle.

• Operate curtain-sided trailers and unfamiliar double-deck configurations.

• Goods loaded and unloaded by Fork Truck.
• Trailers arecurtain-side.whichcan be double-deck
• Well maintained fleet

The candidate:

• \"C+E\" licence with no more than 6points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Hours of work:

• Between 06.00am to 18.00pm - Day shift.

Pay Rates:

• £15.00per hour(plus holiday pay)
