Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) drivers to work with our client in Gateshead, delivering drinks and beverages to pubs and hospitality venues across the North East.

Responsibilities include loading, multi-drop deliveries, yard shunting, and high-standard customer service while representing both our client and The Best Connection. Training is provided for new pass drivers; full-time hours from Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00.

Qualifications

Valid Cat C+E licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
New pass drivers welcome; full training provided.
Good physical fitness and smart appearance for client interactions.
Positive attitude toward professional driving standards and customer service.

Responsibilities

Class 1 driving on designated delivery routes.
Yard shunting duties moving and positioning trailers safely on-site.
Multi-drop delivery of drinks stock, including beer kegs and barrels.
Manual handling of heavy items using delivery equipment.
Customer-facing interaction at pubs and hospitality venues.
Representing both our client and The Best Connection.
