Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a national distribution client based in Mold, Flintshire. We have day work and tramping roles delivering construction products across the UK, with start times between 04:00 and 06:00.

All vehicles are loaded/unloaded by site staff. You will use EPOD to track deliveries and ensure compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply for ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CE) licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious national distribution client based in Mold, Flintshire. (NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME)

We are looking for professional and reliable drivers for both day work or tramping roles, delivering construction products across the UK.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Safely operate Class 1 (CE) vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete curtain-sided trailer deliveries nationwide.
• Deliver concrete products to customer sites.
• Use EPOD technology to track and obtain proof of delivery.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

What's On Offer?

• £16.50 per hour
• Day shifts and tramping work available.
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00.
• No handball required.
• All vehicles are loaded and unloaded by site staff/customers.
• Ongoing work with consistent hours.
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
• Potential for a permanent position with the client.

Requirements
