Job summary

The Best Connection is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our rail client based in Mold, Flintshire. We offer day shifts or tramping roles, with start times from 04:00 to 06:00 and nationwide curtain-sided deliveries of construction products across the UK.

You'll operate CE vehicles safely, use EPOD for proof of delivery, and stay compliant with drivers' hours, WTD and road transport rules. Ongoing work with potential for permanent positions is on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CE) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

The Best Connection are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious national distribution client based in Mold, Flintshire. (NEW PASS DRIVERS WELCOME)

We are looking for professional and reliable drivers for both day work or tramping roles, delivering construction products across the UK.

The Role

• Safely operate Class 1 (CE) vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete curtain-sided trailer deliveries nationwide.
• Deliver concrete products to customer sites.
• Use EPOD technology to track and obtain proof of delivery.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

What's On Offer?

• £16.50 per hour
• Day shifts and tramping work available.
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00.
• No handball required.
• All vehicles are loaded and unloaded by site staff/customers.
• Ongoing work with consistent hours.
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
• Potential for a permanent position with the client.

Requirements
