Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a client in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. This role offers excellent hourly rates, guaranteed minimum paid hours, no handball and ongoing work with progression opportunities.

You will hold a UK Category CE licence with CPC and tachograph cards and have at least 12 months Class 1 experience. Start times 15:00–19:00, Mon–Fri, curtain-side deliveries, safety-focused.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence.
• A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out RDC and brewery deliveries using curtain-side vehicles.
• Operating Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly.
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations and maintaining records.
