Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers for a high-earning 6 to 10-week temporary contract with an immediate start. The work is trunking between UK depots and requires clean driving records and compliance with drivers' hours regulations.

You will enjoy premium hotel accommodation paid for the duration, daily breakfast and a main meal, a £15 daily subsistence, a £240 weekly relocation bonus and mileage reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Clean driving record; up to 6 minor points considered.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Trunking operations between designated depots.
• Adhere to timetables and maintain network efficiency.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with EU Drivers' Hours and tachograph regulations.
• Minimise manual handling; focus on depot-to-depot transfers.
