Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Belfast is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for temporary/ongoing work. You will undertake depot-to-depot driving, with planned routes and a focus on safety, accuracy and on-time delivery.

Shifts include morning, evening and weekends, with paid start for driving assessments, weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay and pension; on-site parking and canteen are available at most depots, and you can secure regular preferred shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Licence showing your current address.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need
