Full-Time Work | September – October Start | Ongoing Until January 2027

Driver Hire is recruiting 5 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for one of the UK’s best-known toy retailers based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We’re offering full-time ongoing work from 1st September through to the New Year, with a variety of shift patterns available to suit different drivers.

Whether you prefer days, nights, tramping or depot-to-depot trunking work, this employer has the opportunities available.

Pay Rates

• Weekday Days: £16. per hour
• Weekday Nights: £17.37 per hour
• Saturdays: £17.37 per hour
• Sundays: £19.34 per hour
• Bank Holidays: £19.34 per hour

The Role

You’ll be delivering goods throughout the UK network and stores, ensuring loads are transported safely, professionally and on time. Duties include:

• Vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Compliance with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations

What We’re Looking For

Before starting, all successful drivers will complete a short on‑site assessment with the client’s in‑house training team.
