Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver based in Atherstone for trunking operations across the UK. This full‑time, temporary role offers flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends, with hourly pay between £21.44 and £24.57.

You will complete vehicle checks, adhere to safety standards and professionally represent the brand at every stop. Requirements include a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence, a current CPC and Tachograph card, and 180+ days of recent Class 1 driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top‑tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
