Job summary

Pertemps in Norwich is looking for a Class 1 Driver to trunk mail between Royal Mail depots across the country. The role is full‑time and temporary, with flexible morning, evening, and weekend shifts for ongoing work through 2026. A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and strong safety record are essential.

You'll perform vehicle checks, follow planned itineraries, and uphold professional conduct when representing the client at depots. Weekly pay, holiday accrual, and pension support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and in date.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on licence and vetting/ DBS checks pass.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top‑tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
