Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver for routes associated with Royal Mail in the Atherstone area. The role offers planned, organised routes with morning, evening and weekend shifts and an emphasis on vehicle checks and safety.

Drivers must hold a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence for at least a year, CPC and Tachograph, with up to 6 points and a DBS check-ready background. Ongoing work with weekly pay and benefits is available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and up to date.
• Minimum 180 days Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass standard vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• No handballing—organised, planned routes.
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
