Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail are seeking a Class 1 Driver for Peterborough on a full-time, temporary basis. Earn £21.44 to £24.57 per hour with planned morning, evening, and weekend shifts for trunking between Royal Mail depots.

Role involves vehicle checks, top safety standards, and representing Royal Mail professionally. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required; DBS / vetting will be conducted. Ongoing work through 2026 with a trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence.
• A valid CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
