QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in South Kirkby, UK. You will trunk to RDCs and NDCs nationwide, following planned routes and schedules, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, comply with transport and health & safety regulations, and maintain professional interactions with customers. Shifts run Mon-Fri with varied start times.

Formación

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Professional, safe, and efficient driving background.

Job Description

Full-Time HGV Class 1 Driver Positions Available in South Kirkby – Immediate Starts

Our client, based in South Kirkby, provide a host of national fulfilment, distribution and warehouse services and have in excess of 2 million square feet of prime modern warehousing facilities, supported by over 600 technologically advanced and well-maintained vehicles, and are now looking to add additional HGV Class 1 Drivers to their team.

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for trunking to RDC’s and NDC’s nationwide working to planned routes and schedules, you’ll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Drivers can expect to complete between 2 and 4 runs per and will at times be responsible for the use of IST trailers, full training will be provided.

All drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle safety inspections, adhere to all transport and health & safety regulations, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with customers.

Duration: This is a full time temp to perm position

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for thsi role is £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £19.00 per hour on Saturdays and £20.00 per hour Sundays.

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times ranging between 0100 and 1000.Drivers will be asked to provide a 2 hour start time window to ensure daily start times are consistent

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for thsi role you must have the following

• -A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
• -A current Driver CPC qualification
• -A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• -No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• -New passes welcome
• -A solid commercial driving background with the ability to work confidently and efficiently from day one
