Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers based in Sheffield (S9). This is an ongoing, full-time role with a leading logistics provider, offering Monday to Friday day shifts and consistent hours.

You will deliver steel products, load and secure loads with straps, and maintain safety and efficiency on every delivery. A UK Class 1 licence, CPC, Tachograph card and 2 years' experience are expected, with up to 6 points allowed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience preferred.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements.
• Previous experience with steel is advantageous.
• Must know how to use straps to secure loads.

Pay Rate: £15.55 per hour, Time and a half for overtime

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with a leading logistics provider.

The Role:

• Delivering steel products to customers and end-user sites
• Working Monday to Friday on day shifts
• Safe loading, securing, and transporting of goods
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures

Pay & Benefits:

• £15.55 per hour
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday - consistent daytime hours
