Job summary

Culina Group is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver on permanent full-time days shift (start times 5am–6am, finish 4pm–5pm). Most deliveries are to Regional Distribution Centres with backdoor tip work. Night-out occasionally required; overtime at 1.5x for nights.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving experience (minimum 6 months preferred)
• Current UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Valid C+E license with no more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects accurately
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and professional approach to customers and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres; many backdoor tip deliveries.
• Support occasional tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on demand.
• Occasional night out may be required.
• Report delays or issues to Transport team at shift start; keep PODs signed and returned.
