Culina is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for permanent full-time roles in Manchester. Shifts cover days and nights with start times across early morning, afternoon, and evening windows.

Expect weekend uplifts and additional pay for hours between 6pm and 4am, plus overtime after 50 hours per week. Responsibilities include safe deliveries to customer sites, regional distribution centres, and occasional multi-drop or tipping duties.

Qualifikationen

• Valid C+E license is required.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points, no DD/DR convictions.
• Current UK Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive.

Aufgaben

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, often backdoor tipping.
• Support occasional tipping or multi-drop deliveries as needed.
• Occasional Night out may be required.
• Report delays or issues to the Transport team at shift start and ensure PODs are signed.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain tachograph compliance.
