Job summary

Culina is hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver for day shifts in the United Kingdom. Start times between 5am and 6am, with Monday to Friday days pattern. You will perform safe deliveries to customer premises and regional distribution centres, often via backdoor tip, with occasional night outs.

Role includes paperwork, POD sign-off, and compliance with drivers hours, tachograph rules and health and safety standards. Strong communication and professional approach are essential, with on-site health and

Qualifications

• Valid C+E license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Current UK Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph cards holder.
• Knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Good communication and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries.
• Occasional night out may be required.
• Report delays, issues or load discrepancies promptly.
• Complete all paperwork and sign PODs.
• Adhere to health, safety and tachograph regulations.
