Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Ashington. The role involves shunting in yards, trunk runs to other depots, and deliveries & collections. You will be representing both the Client and The Best Connection in a customer facing capacity.

Hours are 06:00am start, 4 on 4 off, weekend work, and the ability to take additional shifts. First 12 weeks pay rates are £16.00 per hour on days and £18.00 per hour on nights, with pension

Qualifications

• In-date Cat C+E license, CPC and Digi card required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Smart appearance and positive attitude to customer care.

Our client produces and distributes all over the country from their production facility in Ashington.

The role:

• Shunting in the yard and across to other depots.
• Trunk runs to other hubs
• Deliveries & collections
• This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the Client and The Best Connection

The candidate:

• New passes considered!
• In-date Cat C+E license, CPC and digi card
• Smart appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude to customer care.

Hours of work:

• 06.00am start
• 4 on 4 off basis
• Weekend work required
• Ability to take additional shifts available

Pay Rates (First 12 Weeks):

• £16.00 per hour on Days (Flat Rate)
• £18.00 per hour on Nights (Flat Rate)
