A leading logistics provider in Tees Valley is seeking HGV 1 (C+E) Drivers for day shifts from their Hartlepool depot. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, trunk runs between depots, and loading/unloading goods. Candidates must hold a valid C+E licence, have excellent customer service skills, and at least 6 months of driving experience. Overview

The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional HGV 1 (C+E) DRIVERS on a day basis to work from their Hartlepool depot.

Role

• Safe operation of Class One vehicle.
• Trunk runs between depots.
• Goods loaded and unloaded by Fork Truck.
• Trailers are double decked curtain-side.

Candidate

• "C+E" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Hours of work

• 06.00 to 17.00 - Day shift (approximate)

Pay Rates

• £15.38 per hour (PAYE) for all hours plus paid pro-rata holidays
