The Best Connection are seeking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with our client based in North Shields. Due to increased workload during peak periods and busy operational times, our client is looking to strengthen their transport team with flexible

The Role:

• Trunk runs to set UK locations - no handball
• Driving duties to support increased workloads, peak periods, sickness and holiday cover
• Flexible ad-hoc shifts available based on business demands
• Customer-facing role - friendly and professional attitude required
• A driving assessment and induction will be required prior to starting

The Candidate:

• Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Hours of Work:

• Day shifts only, starting at 06:00
• Shifts offered on an ad-hoc basis during busy periods and operational cover requirements

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £16.00 per hour - Monday to Friday (first 8 hours)
• £24.00 per hour - Monday to Friday (after 8 hours)
• £24.00 per hour - Saturday (all hours)
• £32.00 per hour - Sunday & Bank Holidays (all hours)
