Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for ongoing days shifts in Wolverhampton. You will join a busy distribution operation delivering trunking loads with minimal hand-balling and no multi-drop deliveries.

Shifts start early, with pay rates of £21.44–£22.48 per hour. Benefits include weekly PAYE payments, holiday accrual and pension contributions, and guaranteed minimum daily hours on a stable, non-nonsense driving role.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• DBS checks may be required.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsabilidades

• Transport loads safely between distribution sites following scheduled routes.
• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and perform safety checks.

Pay Rates

• £21.44 per hour - Standard day shifts

• £22.48 per hour - Dawn shifts (02:01-04:00 starts)

• £21.99 per hour - Early shifts (04:01-05:00 starts)

• £21.71 per hour - Early shifts (05:01-05:30 starts)

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for transporting loads safely between distribution sites, following scheduled routes and maintaining high driving standards.

Daily duties include:

• Operating HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles

• Completing vehicle safety checks

• Following transport schedules and procedures

• Complying with tachograph and drivers' hours regulations

• Maintaining a professional approach at all times

What You'll Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, held for a minimum of 12 months

• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• No more than 6 penalty points

• Ability to complete the required vetting and DBS checks
