Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing depot-to-depot trunking work in the Gatwick area. The role offers day, evening and night shifts with regular work and PAYE pay rates.

Rates start at 22.41 per hour for day shifts and rise to 25.53 for qualifying night shifts, with weekly pay and holiday accrual. No handballing, reliable drivers across shifts are needed.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Ability to complete the required vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• You'll be completing scheduled HGV Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites, ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time.
• This is predominantly driving-focused work with no manual loading or unloading.

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing opportunities with a busy transport and distribution operation in the Gatwick area.

We're looking for reliable drivers who want excellent hourly rates, regular shifts and straightforward depot-to-depot trunking work.

With early morning, daytime, evening and night shifts available, there's plenty of opportunity to find work that suits you.

Hourly Pay Rates

Day Shifts

• Standard days – £22.41 per hour
• Dawn shifts – £23.45 per hour
• Early morning shifts – £22.68–£22.95 per hour

Evening & Night Shifts

• Evening shifts – £23.19 per hour
• Late shifts – £24.06 per hour
• Qualifying night shifts – £25.53 per hour

All rates are PAYE and depend on the shift worked.
