Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, seeks experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Lutterworth team. This permanent, full-time role supports a 24/7 operation, delivering palletised goods to regional distribution centres nationwide.

Shifts are 4 on, 4 off with night starts from 12:00 am. Pay is £39,126 per year plus £3,000 night shift premium. You will report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and ensure safe, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence and DCPC and Tachograph cards are required.
• Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred; new pass drivers cannot be accepted.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries as needed.
• Occasional Night out may be required.
• Report delays or load discrepancies to the Transport team at shift start.
• Complete paperwork and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
