Job summary

Great Bear, part of Culina Group, is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a 4 on 4 off pattern at Minworth. The role involves 24-hour operation support with flexible start times, day shifts, and potential night-outs, delivering to regional distribution centres and customer sites.

Starting pay is £16.49 per hour plus supplements for 18:00–06:00 shifts; includes health and safety standards and clear driver documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence.
• 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• DCPC and Tachograph cards current.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries.
• Occasional Night out may be required.
• Report delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly to the Transport team.
