Job summary

TradeBe is recruiting a HGV Class 1 driver to work-day shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern. The role involves collecting clinical waste from sites such as Acute Hospitals and Transfer Stations, adhering to procedures and legal requirements.

You will perform vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, and drive in full compliance with Highway Code and ADR law. Expect professional representation of the company at all times and emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have valid HGV licence (C/E or C)
• Must hold CPC and Digital tachograph cards
• Understanding of EU Driver & Working time laws
• Strong communication and customer-relations skills

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, load, unload and segregate waste per procedures and legal requirements.
• Carry out vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, report defects and maintain vehicles.
• Drive in compliance with Highway Code and ADR law.
• Communicate delays, issues or safety concerns to support operations.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
