Job summary

TradeBe is recruiting a HGV Class 1 experienced driver to work-day shifts with a 4 on 4 off pattern. The role involves collecting clinical waste from hospitals and transfer stations, loading, unloading, and ensuring waste is segregated per procedures and laws.

Requirements include the correct HGV licence (C+E or C), CPC and tachograph cards, and knowledge of EU driver hours. Benefits include a pension, flexible benefits, and a generous quarterly bonus.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold the appropriate HGV licence and CPC/digital tachograph cards.
• 2) Knowledge of EU Driver & Working Time regulations.
• 3) Strong communication and customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, load, unload and segregate clinical waste per procedures and legal requirements.
• Carry out vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, report defects, and maintain vehicles.
• Drive in full compliance with the Highway Code and ADR law.
• Communicate delays or safety concerns to support operational efficiency.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
