Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a temp-ongoing role at our Willenhall depot. The job involves refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to stores and occasional trunking, with some tail-lift work. Immediate starts after assessment and induction.

Shifts listed include Thursday to Monday 03:00-05:15. Day and night rates apply with weekend premiums. Candidates must have at least 6 months Class 1 experience, UK Cat C+E licence, Digi CPC, and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC card, no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Multi drop deliveries to stores.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery and completing vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles and ensuring safety on site.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries as required.
• Manual handling of trolleys during deliveries.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and accuracy of orders.

Class 1 Driver - Willenhall

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an temp - ongoing basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Willenhall depot. The role consists of refrigerated Multi drop deliveries to stores and occasional Trunking. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.

Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.

Shifts available:

• Thursday to Monday 03:00 - 05:15

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
