Trunking work is available with deliveries to specified locations and thorough completion of paperwork. We support flexibility in starting times and provide ongoing work, weekly pay, and 24/7 on-call assistance for drivers.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience driving Class 1.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• National Insurance Number.
• Good level of English.
• Flexible starting times.

Responsibilities

• Trunking deliveries to locations per schedule.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products as directed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of transport department operations.
• Adhere to Road Transport Directive for working time.
• Comply with tachograph rules at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per procedure.
• Obtain PODs and file them with Transport Office after delivery.
• Aim for fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.

Job Description:

• Trunking work. Tramping available
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving
• National Insurance Number
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
• Good level of English
• Flexibility in starting times
