Job summary

Role covers depot-to-depot, trunking, deliveries with paperwork, tachographs, and adherence to RTD. Flexible start times and ongoing work with weekly pay.

Applicants must have 1 year Class 1 experience, UK work rights, NI, English ability, and a full UK licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to specified locations per schedule.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene rules.
• Maintain knowledge of transport operations.
• Manage time in line with Road Transport Directive.
• Follow tachograph rules.
• Perform daily vehicle checks.
• Obtain PODs and return to Transport Office.
• Contribute to fuel efficiency targets.
• Any other duties as required.

Job Description:

• Depo to Depo, Trunking. Tramping available.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving

• Flexibility in starting times
