Job summary

R&V Group Ltd is seeking Class 1 drivers for depo-to-depo trunking roles with occasional tram-routing opportunities. You will deliver Company and Third Party products, follow a delivery schedule and complete all paperwork accurately.

We offer a friendly environment, focus on skill development and a competitive salary with weekly pay. Applicants must have at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience, NI number, right to work in the UK, a full UK licence, good English and flexible start times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• National Insurance Number (NI).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good level of English.
• Flexible start times.

Responsibilities

• Depo to Depo, Trunking. Tramping available.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
