Job summary

R&V Group is seeking a Class 1 driver for depots and trunking work across the UK. You will deliver company and third party products, complete paperwork, and follow safety rules. The role offers weekly pay and 24/7 driver support. Flexible start times are available to suit operations.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience, a full UK licence, NI number, right to work in the UK, and good English. This is ongoing, with stable hours and a friendly team.

• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Depo to Depo, Trunking.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to locations according to schedule.
• Complete paperwork accurately.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene rules and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of transport department operations.
• Manage own working time per Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per procedure.
• Obtain PODs signed and returned after delivery.
• Meet fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Job Description

• Depo to Depo, Trunking.
• Deliver Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery.
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving
• National Insurance Number
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
• Good level of English
• Flexibility in starting times
