Job summary

Prime Placers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client in Thame. You will be delivering goods across the region, carrying out daily checks and maintaining professional service.

The role offers £21-£25 per hour, weekly pay, regular hours and ongoing work with a supportive Prime Placers consultant.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual delivery professional.
• Customer-focused with professional conduct.
• Knowledge of tachograph and Working Time regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient delivery of goods to customer sites across the region.
• Carrying out daily vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects.
• Loading and unloading where required and ensuring loads are secure.
• Completing all delivery paperwork and handheld/POD records accurately.
• Following company procedures, health and safety guidelines and driving regulations, including WTD and tachograph rules.
• Providing a professional, courteous service to customers at all times.

About the Role

Prime Placers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based in Thame. This is a great opportunity to join a reliable operation offering consistent work, competitive hourly rates and a friendly, supportive team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient delivery of goods to customer sites across the region
• Carrying out daily vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading where required, ensuring loads are secure
• Completing all delivery paperwork and handheld/POD records accurately
• Following all company procedures, health and safety guidelines and driving regulations, including WTD and tachograph rules
• Providing a professional, courteous service to customers at all times

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, IN or major offences)
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of tachograph and Working Time regulations
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
• Right to work in the UK
