Job summary

Workchain is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Tamworth. The role involves curtain sider deliveries, early starts, and 10–11 hour days with 2–3 drops daily. This temporary position offers weekly pay and optional Saturday shifts, with starts ranging from 06:30 to 07:30.

You will be responsible for safe driving, timely deliveries, pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate delivery records while complying with road safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license.
• CPC qualification.
• Minimum of 18 months of experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Tamworth
Pay Rate: £900 - £1200 per week
Job Type: Temporary

Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This will be a mix of general haulage work on a curtain sider. Starts range from 0630 - 0730 on average 10 - 11 hour days. 2 - 3 drops a day! They also run on Saturdays if you want them. This is block bookings with immediate starts runs are given the night before via text.
