Job summary

Additions Recruitment Consultuants Ltd in Tamworth is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a leading logistics operation. The role offers a consistent early-morning start and a straightforward route, with long-term, stable work.

You will deliver palletised goods on a Monday–Friday pattern, complete paperwork and vehicle checks, and may on occasion take extra shifts or undertake collections from other sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to perform some manual handling duties.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
• Flexible approach to duties and routes when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on a fixed early-morning route.
• Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Deliver palletised goods safely, professionally, and on time.
• Occasionally complete collections from other sites and ad hoc transport duties.
• Be prepared to work an additional sixth shift when workload requires.

Class 1 Driver Required - Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting an experienced

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a leading logistics operation based in Tamworth.

Offering a consistent early morning start time and a straightforward delivery route, this role would suit a professional and reliable driver looking for long-term, stable work.

The Role

• Monday to Friday shift pattern with a 0500 - 0700 start.
• Deliveries consist of palletised goods.
• two hour allowance for tipping
• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Ensure all deliveries are made safely, professionally, and on time.
• In addition to the regular route, drivers may occasionally be required to:
• Complete collections from alternative sites
• Undertake other ad hoc transport duties as required by the business.
• Work an additional sixth shift on occasion, depending on workload and operational requirements.

Requirements
